The Senior Captain led the Marauders to a 6-1 record by going 96/138 for 1,221 yards and 11 passing touchdowns. Gavin also rushed for an additional 5 touchdowns. His best offensive performance came against Morris Knolls when he threw for 374 yards and 4 touchdowns. He finished the season as Daily Record Player of Week 8, with a stellar 3 touchdown performance in the division clinching victory over an undefeated Randolph.
The Senior wide receiver was NJ #8 in receiving yards by hauling in 43 catches for 631 yards and 6 touchdowns. Two of his touchdowns came against Randolph, a NJ top 20 undefeated team, who only let up one passing touchdown all season prior to that division clinching 21-7 win for the Marauders.
The Senior and 2nd year starting offensive tackle protected the blind side and punished opponents all season long. While facing some of the toughest defenders in NJ, Mason led the trenches for an offense that produced over 2,500 yards and 29 touchdowns in only 7 games.
Hunter Perez and Daniel Barra, both juniors, were selected 3rd Team All-Group 4 by nj.com.
Hunter Perez (LB/RB) was designated as a Utility player with 57 tackles, 2 interceptions (1 for a TD), 1 fumble recovery, and 1 blocked punt. On offense, Hunter had 5 touchdowns on 56 rushes for 401 yards, 1 receiving touchdown, and a 2-point conversion.
Dan Barra (K) went 29/33 on extra points and 3/4 on field goals, with a long of 35 yards.
